ETALON GROUP PLC ("Etalon Group" or the "Company"), one of the largest development and construction companies in Russia, announces the expansion of its geographic presence. Etalon Group has reached an agreement with the Khabarovsk administration for comprehensive territorial development. Under the deal, the Company plans to create a comfort-class residential project, with an area of four hectares, in the city's Kirovsk district.
The residential complex will include five buildings, with a height of 12 to 23 floors, as well as commercial facilities, a kindergarten, a landscaped area with playgrounds and sports facilities, and a convenient parking lot. The project's total salable area amounts to 40,900 sq. m. The construction is planned to begin in 2026 and finish in 2029.
The entry into this region is in line with Etalon Group's business expansion strategy, implemented in late 2021. Under its regional development plan, the Company has entered into seven regional markets, thus expanding its geographic presence to 10 regions. The Khabarovsk region will be Etalon Group's 11th region of presence.
Russia's Far Eastern Federal District is one of the country's industrial and logistics centers, with substantial investment potential. Seven regions in the Far East, including Khabarovsk, were placed in the National Rating Agency 2024 investment ranking, with a grade of "high investment attractiveness." Last year the Khabarovsk region experienced investment growth rates that were significantly higher than the Russian national average. The region's growing attractiveness is being boosted by the development of industrial production and the transport sector, where cargo turnover and port loads have increased against the backdrop of an economic "pivot to the East."
